Today’s spolight deal is a new Nintendo Switch bundle from Walmart. In my opinion, it’s better than any console we saw on Black Friday, and it’s available for immediate shipping right now. Considering the fact that the Switch is one of the hottest sellers during the holiday season, this might not be the case for long.

Nintendo Switch V2 Mario Red Bundle for $299

Good things come to those who wait. For those of you who passed on the Switch deals during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you’re patience has been rewarded. Walmart’s exclusive holiday bundle, which includes the Switch console with the coveted Mario Red Joy-cons, $20 in eShop credit, and a red hard shell carrying case, is now available. There’s no better looking Switch available right now. Unlike the infamous Mario Kart bundle from Black Friday, this is the newer Switch model with the extra 2 hours of battery life compared to the original.

Out 3/31: Persona 5 Royal Edition up for Preorder

If you thought Persona 5 couldn’t get any better, guess again. One of the best (if not the best) RPGs to grace the PlayStation 4 console is receiving the royal treatment in 2020. Persona 5: Royal Edition introduces a new character, the ability of customize your Thieves’ Den, and new story lines with new cutscenes and new endings. The Steelbook Launch edition throws in a snazzy metal case at no additional cost. Pay $30 more for the Phantom Thieves edition and you get a replica of the Joker Mas, hardcover art book, and soundtrack. The wickedly stylish Persona 5 scored a well-deserve 9.7/10 in our review.

  • Preorder the Steelbook Launch Edition for $59.99 on Amazon
  • Preorder the Phantom Thieves Edition for $89.99 on Amazon

Baby Yoda Funko Pops Are Now Up for Preorder

It’s a shame there are no officially licensed Baby Yoda toys for the holiday season because of Disney’s commitment not to spoil the Mandalorian suprise ahead of its launch. But better late than never, as they say. Get your fix on with these ridiculously popular Baby Yoda Funko Pops. The regular one is about 3.75″ tall, but the super-sized one is nearly 10″ tall, probably close to the actual height of Baby Yoda in the TV show. Sadly there’s no peach fuzz on these licensed versions of Baby Yoda, but it still won’t stop me from grabbing both.

On a related note, Mattel’s official Baby Yoda toy that sparked a massive buying spree over at Walmart yesterday is available again, but only at the Disney Store. If the preorder sales at Walmart are any indication, this toy will probably sell out there too.

  • Preorder the 10″ Super-Sized Baby Yoda Funko Pop for $29.96 at Walmart
  • Preorder the Baby Yoda Funko Pop for $8.78 at Walmart
  • Preorder the 11″ Mattel Baby Yoda Plush for $24.99 at the Disney Shop

Nintendo Switch Lite for $179.99

Here’s yet another deal that is better than anything we saw on Black Friday. Woot has the Nintendo Switch Lite in Gray, Yellow, or Turquoise for $189.99. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, that drops to $179.99. Why? Because Amazon owns Woot.

  • Get it for $179.99 at Woot (Amazon Prime members only)

Batman Beyond The Complete Series Deluxe Limited Edition on Blu-ray for $60.99

File this deal away under the “Better than Black Friday” category. This set sold for $69.99 on Black Friday (it went back up in price on Cyber Monday). This set includes all 3 seasons (52 episodes) in remastered high definition and digital copies, the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker animated movie on Blu-ray, Metallic Batman Beyond Funko POP, and more stuff. Here’s our split screen comparison of the Blu-ray release vs DVD.

Planet Earth II/Blue Planet II in 4K for $29.99

Never has this price dropped this low. If you own a 4K TV, you owe it to youself to get this fantastic ultra high-definition depiction of life on Earth. The footage for these two films are direct 4K transfers and the camera techniques employed are downright incredible. If anything, these are some of the best reference footage you can get to wow your friends.

Sign up for the Disney +, Hulu, and ESPN+ Package and Save $5/Month

This sponsored deal is brought to you by Disney.

The only way to get your Baby Yoda fix is through the Disney+ streaming service. Four episodes of The Mandalorian have come and gone. Binge watch them all with a 7-day free trial, although you might be tempted to continue the service for $6.99 per month when you see how much content there is from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixel, and National Geographic. An even better deal is if you sign up for the Disney +, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle. In that case you pay only $12.99. If you were to subscribe to all thee services separately, you’d be paying around $17.99 per month, so you’d be saving $60 every year.
