The Mortal Kombat reboot has been in the works for quite some time, so it’s nice to see the film finally come to fruition. Warner Bros. recently announced that the movie’s release date has been moved up a few weeks to January 15, 2021.

In August, Warner Bros. announced that Shang Tsung had been cast as Scorpion and Sonya Blade as Kano. Hopefully, the end of filming means that we will finally get to see an official trailer for the film, as well as a first-look at more characters.
