Late night host Jimmy Kimmel and Fox News host Sean Hannity are locked in TV and Twitter war over jokes Kimmel made about First Lady Melania Trump while Hannity is retorting calling him ‘Harvey Weinstein Jr.’
The clashing of the host titans was sparked by Kimmel’s Monday night monologue in which he made fun of Melania Trump’s accent during the annual White House Easter egg hunt, and said she was busy digging an escape tunnel from the White House.
‘I have just had it with the utter hypocrisy, the unrelenting attacks against not only a sitting president, but his wife and his daughter and his 11-year-old son,’ Hannity said on Friday on his show in a 20-minute rant against Kimmel.
Sean Hannity took 20 minutes of his show on Friday to bash Jimmy Kimmel for his Monday opening monologue in which he made fun of Melania Trump’s accent during the annual White House Easter egg hunt
Kimmel was the brunt of Hannity on Thursday, but he also took to his own show Jimmy Kimmel Live! to call Hannity an ‘a** clown’ for taking issue with his monologue
The back and forth on Twitter between the two hosts seem to be endless, starting on Friday after Hannity’s show.
Hannity tweeted ‘Game on you pervert’ as he started dredging up clips from Kimmel’s time on The Man Show which ran from 1999 to 2004 on Comedy Central.
‘I’m starting to think someone has a crush on me!’ Kimmel replied.
On Friday Hannity gave Kimmel the moniker #PervertKimmel due to his hosting of The Man Show.
The epic, entertaining and often times vicious rants between the two geared up when Kimmel on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ called Hannity an ‘a** clown,’ for Hannity taking issue with his Monday night monologue.
All in good fun?: Things got personal between the men who also took aim at each other’s families during the barbs
Hannity, 56, started tweeting pages from Wikipedia to show he was hunting for to revealing material about Kimmel’s time on the Comedy Central show.
‘So Much to choose from regarding Harvey Weinstein junior,’ Hannity tweeted at 1:05pm Friday.
‘Today’s poll,’ Hannity wrote. ‘So tonight will @jimmykimmel be 1- Asking 18 year old girls to touch his crotch. 2- Make fun of the First Lady reading books to children. 3- Be a racist a–hole. 4- all of the above?’
Kimmel, 50, replied that Hannity’s tweets trivialized Weinstein’s victims.
‘I vote for whichever one best helps you trivialize the horrors of Harvey Weinstein by comparing them to televised comedy bits in which every woman was a willing participant who gladly signed a release,’ he wrote.
The Man Show was co-hosted by Adam Carolla and was sexually charged complete with the shows traditional closing of ‘Girls on Trampolines.’
Hannity shared a clip from the show where Kimmel asks a young woman to feel his pants and guess what’s inside.
‘Jimmy that’s you being a pervert a**hole,’ Hannity shared. ‘How would you feel if that was your daughter? I bet @Disney is so proud.’
Hannity also found a clip of Kimmel on The Man Show in blackface as NBA star Karl Malone.
Meanwhile Kimmel mocked Hannity for being unable to get an erection until Trump became President.
‘This is the guy who defended the multiply-alleged pedophile Roy Moore. And I’m a despicable disgrace. I’m the A** Clown! If I’m an A** Clown, and I might very well be you, Sean, are the whole A-Circus,’ he said.
‘You know what I think is disrespectful to the First Lady?’ Kimmel continued. ‘Cheating on her with a porn star after she has a baby. Why don’t you rant a little about that, Sean Hannity? And go get a haircut, you hippie!’
Things really heated up when Hannity brought up another clip of Kimmel on The Man Show on Friday afternoon, writing in one tweet, ‘Answer this question. Would you want a stranger asking your daughter to ‘grab their crotch, and put their mouths on it? Yes or no Harvey!’
Kimmel responded that every woman in the sketches ‘WILLINGLY participated’ before taking aim at Hannity over his Trump support.
‘Now YOU answer THIS question,’ Kimmel tweeted. ‘Would you want your daughter being ‘grabbed by the p***y’? Yes or no?’
Kimmel asked the same question in two more tweets before Hannity finally issued a response.
‘Stop deflecting @jimmykimmel, locker room talk vs. your interactions with women asking them to touch it or put their mouths on it,’ he wrote.
