Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) speaks to reporters as he arrives for the weekly Senate Republican policy luncheon on Capitol Hill in Washington, U.S., April 17, 2018.

President Donald Trump will leave the Iran nuclear deal next month if there are no significant changes, Republican Sen. Bob Corker told CNBC on Thursday.

“Maybe there will be a breakthrough before May 12,” said Corker, chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. “If there’s not, I absolutely believe that he’ll leave the agreement.”
