Joker isn’t the only comic book movie to buck the trend of a scene during the credits.
Avengers: Endgame didn’t have a scene, in favor of a more sweet and satisfying ending as did the Oscar-nominated Logan.
The filmmaker behind Logan, James Mangold, put it best when he said, “The second it’s like, ‘Well, you’re supposed to serve cheesecake at the end of the meal,’ my response is, ‘Really? Is that the new rule? I can’t serve dinner at my house without cheesecake at the end?’”
