Season 2 will debut in 2019.
Cobra Kai is returning to fight another day as the YouTube Red series has been renewed for Season 2.
Like Season 1, the second season will also contain 10 half-hour episodes. Production begins this fall with Season 2 premiering in 2019. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
The first episode of the critically-acclaimed series has garnered over 20 million views since its debut on May 4. Alongside Macchio and Zabka, Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Courtney Henggeler are also returning for Season 2.
The critically-acclaimed Cobra Kai takes place decades after the original Karate Kid movies, and follows a down-and-out Johnny trying to reopen the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Meanwhile, a successful Daniel has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without his mentor, Mr. Miyagi.
